We depart early in the morning, driving westward toward Sarnia, Ontario. Along the way, picturesque landscapes unfold like a painting, with lush green fields and peaceful small towns scattered throughout the journey. Around noon, we make a brief stop in London, Ontario, a charming city that, true to its name, retains many British cultural elements. The serene and relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect place to unwind. By evening, we arrive in Sarnia, a small town on the shores of Lake Huron, known for its laid-back and slow-paced lifestyle.
In the morning, we depart from Sarnia and cross the border into Michigan, heading toward Frankenmuth, a town that feels like a Bavarian fairytale. With its German-style architecture, wooden bridges, windmills, and markets, the entire town looks as if it was transported straight from Europe. In the afternoon, we continue to Holland, Michigan, a town founded by Dutch immigrants in 1847. Today, many Dutch descendants still reside here, and the street names are inspired by cities in the Netherlands. The brick-paved pathways and historic buildings offer a charming glimpse into centuries-old Dutch culture. By evening, we arrive in Chicago and check into our hotel.
Chicago wakes up with energy, and we begin our exploration from Michigan Avenue. Our first stop is the Historic Water Tower, built in 1869, one of the few buildings that survived the Great Chicago Fire and remains an iconic landmark. Next, we visit Chicago's Central Business District, where modern skyscrapers meet historic landmarks. In Millennium Park, we admire the famous "Cloud Gate" (The Bean), a massive reflective sculpture that mirrors the city skyline and pedestrians. Nearby, the Crown Fountain captivates visitors with its interactive water features, and Buckingham Fountain, inspired by the fountains of Versailles, stands as one of the largest in the U.S. In the afternoon, we embark on the Chicago Architecture River Cruise, sailing along the river while enjoying breathtaking views of the city's towering skyscrapers. This highly popular tour provides a unique perspective of Chicago’s architectural marvels, with expert narration offering insights into the city's rich history and innovative design. Later, we visit the Skydeck Chicago at Willis Tower, standing 110 stories above the city. From this height, we enjoy panoramic views of Lake Michigan, Chicago’s iconic skyline, and the vast urban landscape stretching beneath us. Optional Activities (extra fee, not included in the tour price)
In the morning, we visit Hyde Park, one of Chicago's most famous neighborhoods and home to the prestigious University of Chicago. Situated along Lake Michigan, the area is rich in history, architecture, and cultural diversity. Former U.S. President Barack Obama once resided in this community. Before noon, we leave Chicago and drive toward Detroit, known as the "Motor City." The highlight of our visit is the Henry Ford Museum of Innovation, showcasing the history of the American Industrial Revolution. From Ford automobiles to Thomas Edison's inventions, the museum presents an inspiring collection of human ingenuity and technological progress. By evening, we cross the border back into Canada, arriving in Windsor, Ontario. Situated across the river from Detroit, Windsor’s scenic riverfront offers a tranquil setting, while the Detroit skyline lights up the night sky. Optional Activities (extra fee, not included in the tour price)
Early in the morning, we begin our journey back to Montreal, with beautiful landscapes accompanying us along the way. We expect to arrive in Montreal around 8:00 PM. Note
