Morning departure from Montreal towards Gaspésie. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the St. Lawrence River. Stop at the Pointe-au-Père Maritime Historic Site, home to Canada’s second tallest lighthouse. You will also learn about the tragic sinking of the Empress of Ireland, one of the most important maritime disasters in Canadian history. You will also have the opportunity to see, from the outside, the only submarine open to the public in Canada. Continue towards Gaspésie and check in at the hotel in the evening. In the morning, depart for Forillon National Park, located at the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula. This spectacular park features breathtaking scenery of cliffs, forests, mountains, and the sea. Enjoy panoramic views over the Gulf of St. Lawrence and discover the wild beauty of Gaspésie. Continue to the famous Percé Rock, one of the symbols of maritime Quebec. Then board a cruise around Percé Rock and towards Bonaventure Island (weather permitting). During the crossing, you may spot seabirds, seals, and sometimes even whales while admiring the stunning coastal scenery of Gaspésie. Enjoy free time on the island to explore nature and discover the largest Northern Gannet colony in North America. In the evening, continue to Pointe-à-la-Croix for hotel check-in. In the morning, depart for Campbellton, a charming coastal town known as the Atlantic salmon capital. You will have the opportunity to take photos with the famous giant salmon sculpture, one of the region’s iconic landmarks. Continue to the famous Reford Gardens, recognized among the most beautiful gardens in North America. Admire more than 3,000 species and varieties of plants in a spectacular natural setting filled with colorful flowers and historic gardens. Return to Montreal with arrival expected in the evening Optional Activities (extra fee, not included in the tour price)
